CDL-A Regional Reefer Driver — Up to $104,000/Year

Our company, a 26-year-old refrigerated carrier that keeps things driver-focused, needs an experienced CDL-A driver for a steady regional lane between North Carolina and Omaha, Nebraska. You'll run a 2025 manual-transmission tractor pulling a reefer trailer.

Pay

• $0.58 per mile base, plus a $0.08 per mile bonus, for a combined $0.66 per mile

• Bonus payout depends on how the company performs and on qualifications covered during hiring; the company says 96% of drivers collect it weekly

• Expected annual earnings run up to $104,000 per year

Home time

• Expect about seven days on the road, then two days home

• Same regional lane every trip: North Carolina to Omaha and back

What you'll haul

• Temperature-controlled freight, pulled with a 2025 manual-transmission tractor and reefer trailer

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum two years of verifiable experience driving tractor-trailers

• Comfortable operating a manual-transmission rig

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean enough driving record to meet company standards

• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol testing

• Available for roughly week-long stretches away from home

• Dependable job history and solid communication skills

• Prior reefer hauling experience is a plus

On the job

• Transport refrigerated loads safely on the NC-to-Omaha route

• Track and adjust reefer unit settings and trailer temps

• Complete full pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip equipment checks

• Hit your pickup and delivery windows

• Stay on top of logs and required paperwork

• Stay in touch with dispatch, customers, and the shop

• Flag any mechanical problems right away

• Keep the truck clean and in good shape
