About this job

God's Truck Lines is looking for CDL-A drivers for Regional, OTR, and Team routes out of Toledo, OH. You're paid a set weekly salary instead of by the mile, and no experience is required to start.

Pay

  • Paid as 1099, on a fixed weekly salary rather than per mile
  • New hires with under 6 months of experience: $1,700/week to start, moving to $2,000/week after 6 months
  • Drivers with over 6 months of experience: $2,000/week
  • If you don't yet have a CDL-A, the company can send you to CDL school, but your starting pay would be $1,500/week, rising to $1,700/week after 6 months and $2,000/week after a year
  • Team drivers running California routes: $2,500/week
  • Overall pay range listed: $2,000.00 - $3,500.00 per week
  • Pay period runs Thursday to Thursday; anything worked before Friday is paid that same Friday, with no holdback
  • If you work less than 5.5 days in a week, your weekly salary is prorated by day
  • If you quit and return the truck to the yard, your final check is issued within 24 hours rather than waiting for the normal payday

Home time

  • Home every 2-3 days, or on weekends for a 34-hour reset, or every 2 weeks, depending on what you choose; applies to all experience levels
  • Team drivers run to California and back 4 times every 8-9 days

What you'll haul

  • Freight varies by assignment and may include refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off containers
  • Trucks are newer, with some governed at 65 mph

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
  • No prior experience necessary; the company provides 5 days of training
  • Manual transmission experience is preferred but not required
  • Comfortable loading/unloading and securing freight; forklift experience is a plus
  • Able to do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep accurate logs of hours, mileage and freight paperwork per DOT rules
  • Good communication with dispatch about routes, delivery status and any issues
  • Able to lift heavy loads and work outdoors in different weather

The hiring carrier's name is shared with you once you apply through the DriverRoll app, where you can message them directly.
