CDL-A Regional Flatbed Driver — Manual, Home Weekends

Our company is hiring experienced flatbed drivers to haul steel on regional routes out of Springfield, OH. You'll run a manual-transmission tractor-trailer Monday through Friday, with weekends typically free.

Pay

• Paid a percentage of the load rate, which varies with your experience and tenure

• Company estimates average earnings of $1,700-$1,900 per week

• You keep 50% of any stop-off, detention and no-load charges

• Per diem available up to $80 a day depending on time away and eligibility

Home time

• Monday-Friday schedule, no weekend runs

• Routes change week to week, usually 4-7 stops depending on distance

• Expect 2-3 nights away during the week, then home for the weekend

What you'll haul

• Steel freight delivered to customer sites

• No-touch freight: you oversee and secure the load rather than loading it yourself

Requirements

• At least 22 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• Two years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last five years

• Two years specifically hauling flatbed

• Comfortable driving a manual transmission

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving record, background check and drug screen required
