About this job
Run a dedicated regional fleet out of the Denver metro area, hauling for Kroger with frequent home time and newer equipment. Freight is mostly no-touch with live unload and drop-and-hook stops across Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Eastern Utah.
Pay
- Average weekly earnings of $1,625, with top weekly pay reaching $1,650
- Averages out to about $84,500 a year, with top annual pay around $85,800
- Paid by the mile, plus a Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus
Home time
- Home weekly, with some drivers able to get home every other day
- Six days on duty followed by two days off
- Both day and night driving, including weekend shifts
What you'll haul
- Dedicated regional freight, mostly no-touch, using live unload and drop-and-hook
- About 1,700 miles, 6 loads, and 13 stops each week
- Mountain routes that may stretch into a two-day run
- Newer 2025 automatic trucks fitted with automatic tire chains
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A driving experience
- Clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card
- No SAP drivers
- Comfortable driving regional routes day or night, weekends included, and in mountain or winter conditions
