About this job
Our company needs CDL-A drivers for a full-time, no-touch dry van position running regional freight out of Detroit, MI. You'll pull steady lanes east of I-35 with occasional nationwide runs as freight demand requires, and get home every other weekend.
Pay
- $1,500 to $1,650 per week
- Roughly 2,500 miles weekly
- Extra pay for detention, layover, and breakdowns
Home time
- Scheduled every other weekend
- Take the truck home or park it at the terminal when that option is available
What you'll haul
- No-touch dry van freight
- Established routes mostly east of I-35, with no New York City runs
- Occasional nationwide trips depending on freight needs
- Average load length of about 700 miles
- Kenworth and Freightliner sleeper trucks
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 3 months of OTR tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years
- No endorsements needed
