About this job
Our company, a Northwest-based carrier, is hiring Class A CDL company drivers and owner operators for Northwest regional and Western OTR runs. You'll get regular routing home along with the backing of a smaller, driver-focused operation.
Pay
Company drivers earn up to $.57 CPM base pay plus up to $.04 CPM in performance bonus, with the exact rate depending on your division. Layover and detention pay are also provided. Owner operators running OTR keep 80% of gross revenue plus 100% of the fuel surcharge.
Routes and home time
Regional drivers average 2,200-2,400 miles a week and are out for up to 10 days before coming home. OTR drivers average 2,500 miles a week with trips of up to 14 days.
What you'll haul
Freight is no-touch, running 53' dry van and reefer trailers. Owner operators get consistent freight, well-maintained trailers, and fuel discounts through Pilot and Relay.
Equipment
Company drivers run 2020 or newer Cascadia or Volvo trucks, with strong maintenance support for both trucks and trailers. Owner operators must run a tractor no older than 10 years, and can opt into plate and insurance programs.
Support and facilities
Our company runs a full-service terminal in Portland, OR, along with 12 drop yards, free parking at secured yards, and a rider policy. Owner operators get 24/7 support with an assigned driver manager. Driver facilities include showers, laundry, a TV room, and fresh food vending. The company also maintains low CSA scores.

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience with a school certificate, or 2 years of OTR experience
- Minimum age 23
- Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- No failed DOT drug or alcohol tests in the last 5 years
- No SAP program participation in the last 5 years
- No DUI or DWI convictions in the last 5 years
- No rollover or rear-end accidents in the last 3 years
