A carrier based in the Nampa/Boise, Idaho area is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for two openings: a regional job in the Northwest and an over-the-road job. Both pay $26 per hour and run newer sleeper tractors.
Pay
- $26 per hour for both openings, paid every two weeks.
- OTR drivers get a 65-hour weekly guarantee and at least $1,700 per week.
- Regional drivers can pick up overtime and get $50 per diem for qualifying nights spent in the truck.
Routes
- Regional: Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and as far as Salt Lake City, Utah.
- OTR: longer multi-state runs, with destinations set by freight and operations.
- Expect mountain terrain and tough weather; trucks carry winter cables.
Schedule
- Start times for OTR: 1:00 AM, 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM.
- Start times for regional: 5:30 PM, 2:30 AM or 4:30 PM.
Equipment
- 2024 Freightliner, International and Volvo sleepers, with new 2027 Freightliners joining the fleet.
- Each truck has a refrigerator and microwave.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and at least 1 year of CDL-A experience.
- A safe driving record.
- Comfort driving in mountains and changing weather.
- Ability to meet DOT and company qualification standards.
- Flexibility on routes and dispatch times.
