CDL-A Reefer OTR Driver — Home Monthly, $0.43–$0.58/Mile

Swift Transportation's West Valley City, UT terminal needs over-the-road refrigerated drivers to run coast-to-coast lanes with a range of load types. You'll be home once a month and paid every week.

Pay

• Trip pay runs $0.43 to $0.58 per mile based on dispatched miles, depending on your route and verified experience.

• The top 25% of reefer OTR drivers out of this terminal average $1,800 a week.

• Starting July 13, 2026, eligible solo OTR company drivers get a guaranteed minimum of $1,000 a week for their first 90 days behind the wheel. Ask a recruiter for the full terms.

• Paychecks arrive weekly, and after one year on the job vacation pay starts at $800.

Home time

• You're scheduled home once a month.

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated freight on OTR routes, with access to a wide mix of loads across the country.

• The company runs more than 30 terminals in 25 states, plus a new fuel network and free showers for drivers on the road.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid Class A license.

• No current disqualification from operating a commercial vehicle under any federal, state or local rule.

• At most 1 preventable on-road or DOT loss in the past 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in that span, and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.

• No serious traffic violations in the last year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.

• No conviction for possessing, transporting or using Schedule 1 drugs while on duty within the last 3 years.

• Strong backing skills, and willingness to work occasional holidays.
