CDL-A Port Driver (1099) — Home Most Nights

Our company needs an independent contractor CDL-A driver for container runs at Virginia ports. You'll run solo, drop-and-hook only, picking loads that fit your own schedule.

What you'll haul

• Containers moving to and from Virginia ports

• Drop-and-hook only, no touch freight

• Solo runs, local and regional

Schedule and pay

• 1099 independent contractor role, you set your own workload and schedule

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

• Earnings split 50/50 on loads

• Home most nights, depending on which loads you take

• Weekends are optional based on your availability

• Reported pay range is $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Equipment and support

• Freightliner Cascadia provided in good condition

• Fuel costs are shared between you and the company

• Major truck repair expenses are covered

• Occupational accident insurance included

• Fuel card and fuel discount provided

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A

• TWIC card required

• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience (1 year preferred per listing)

• Clean driving record

• Must pass a DOT drug screen and background check

• Port experience helpful but not required
