CDL-A Owner-Operator Tanker Driver — Up to $275,000/Year

An Iowa-based carrier is looking for Class A owner-operators to run tanker freight, with runs that can get you home weekly or longer depending on what you want. Training is available if you're new to tanker work, though chemical and pressurized tanker experience is a plus.

Pay

• Up to $275,000.00 per year, with top drivers having exceeded this

• Settled three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

• Fuel card option available

• Cab card option available

Home time

• Runs available for weekly home time or longer, depending on your preference

What you'll haul

• Tanker freight, including chemical and pressurized tankers

• Trailers are provided, or you can supply your own

• Long-term customer base, not load-to-load dispatching

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• Hazmat and tank endorsements

• About 1 year of driving experience preferred

• Must own your Class 8 truck, equipped with PTO and a 2-line wet kit

How it works

• You work as a contractor and are never forced onto a dispatch

• No daily terminal check-ins; the company office is offsite
