CDL-A Owner-Operator — Local, Home Daily, $500–$800/Day

Our company is looking for owner-operators to run local routes out of Chicago, IL with daily home time. You must bring your own tractor to join this contractor-based network.

Pay

• Solo owner-operators running local, home-daily routes earn $500-$800 per day

• Settlements go out weekly, with pay issued on Fridays

• A weekly fuel surcharge applies, along with fuel discounts through the company card

What you'll haul

• This is a local, home-daily setup for solo operators

• A trailer pool is available if you bring just your tractor

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license

• At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience

• You must own your own equipment (tractor)

• Open only to owner-operators; this is not a company driver role

Programs and costs

• Non-trucking liability coverage runs $65 per month per unit

• Occupational accident coverage is $167 per month per driver, where offered

• You can supply your own qualifying insurance instead if you prefer

• Optional physical damage coverage is available

• ELD rental (Roadrunner-owned units) costs $6.50 per week

• Help is available with base plates and permits

• Optional IFTA reporting and fuel tax handling is offered

• Maintenance discounts are available through our company's vendor network
