CDL-A Owner Operator — Home Weekly, No-Touch Drop & Hook

Our company is looking for CDL-A owner operators to run regional, dedicated customer freight across the Midwest. You'll need your own truck, and you'll get consistent weekly time at home.

Pay

• Weekly gross revenue typically runs $6,500-$12,000, averaging $7,500+ for many owner ops here

• After deductions, drivers usually net $3,000-$6,000 per week

• You keep 70%-73% of your weekly gross

• Settlements are processed weekly, with direct deposit landing every Friday

• Safety bonuses of $2,000-$3,000 are paid both quarterly and annually

Home time

• Weekly home time is standard, with extra time off possible when regional routes bring you through your area

What you'll haul

• All freight comes straight from customers - no broker loads involved

• Loads are mostly drop and hook, with no-touch handling

• Rates are contracted and stay steady all year

• Your main coverage area spans Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee - no runs to either coast

Equipment and support

• The trailer fleet uses 53-foot vans (165V53 model), and most units are under five years old

• There are 4 trailers for every truck in the fleet

• Trailer fee runs $750 a month; plate program costs $50 a week

• The in-house shop charges a flat $100/hr rate, backed by 3 bays and 6 full-time mechanics

• You'll get EZ Pass, Pre-Pass, and fuel cards through Motive and AtoB

• Drivers typically stick around for about 7 years on average

• Load planners, mechanics, safety staff, accounting, and ownership all work directly with drivers

Requirements

• Must own your own truck

• CDL-A with at least 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience

• A steady work history is important - the company values drivers who stick with one employer

• No felony convictions within the past 7 years

• No DUI or reckless driving charges within the past 5 years
