CDL-A Owner Operator — Home Daily, Avg. $2,000–$3,000/Week Net

Our company is looking for owner operators to run home-daily, round-trip loads out of Charlotte, NC. This is intermodal freight with mostly drop-and-hook handling, based at CSX Intermodal Charlotte.

Pay

• Average net take-home pay runs between $2,000 and $3,000 per week

• Direct deposit every Friday

• Fuel card provided (EFS), with fuel surcharge updated weekly

Home time and freight

• Home every day, with round-trip, customer-based runs

• Mileage changes depending on the shipper

• Over 95% of loads are drop-and-hook

• About 99% no-touch freight

• Chassis comes preloaded at the ramp, and there's no chassis fee

• Based at CSX Intermodal Charlotte, 5430 Hovis Rd, Charlotte, NC 28208

• TWIC card is not required

Deductions

• Non-trucking bobtail insurance: $5.77 per week

• Occupational accident coverage: $19.85 per week

• IFTA: $6.00 per week

• Electronic logs (Qualcomm): $12.50 per week

• Physical damage coverage is optional, priced based on your truck's value

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• At least 24 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years

• A 2000 model year or newer tractor meeting FMCSA safety standards

• Clean driving and safety history (MVR and PSP)

• Your own trailer plate, or willingness to get one (ask about the insurance pilot program)
