About this job
Our company is looking for CDL-A owner operators to run dedicated, direct customer freight on a regional basis out of Pennsylvania. The freight is 100% drop and hook with no broker loads, and you'll be home weekly.
Pay
- Weekly gross revenue typically runs $6,500-$12,000, with some weeks reaching $7,500+ on average.
- After deductions, net pay generally lands between $3,000-$6,000 per week.
- You keep 70%-73% of the weekly gross revenue.
- Settlements are issued weekly, with direct deposit every Friday.
- Quarterly and annual safety bonuses range from $2,000-$3,000.
Home time
- Home every week, with the chance for extra time off when your regional route brings you through town.
What you'll haul
- Direct customer freight under consistent, year-round contracted rates — no brokered loads.
- Mostly drop and hook, with short-haul runs covering IL, IN, MI, OH, PA, IA, MN, WI, MO, KY, TN, and SC. No West Coast or East Coast routes.
- The trailer fleet is mostly 53-foot vans under five years old, with a 4:1 trailer-to-truck ratio. Trailer fee is $750/month.
Requirements
- You must own your own truck.
- At least 2 years of CDL-A tractor-trailer driving experience.
- A stable work history is important to this company.
- No felony convictions in the past 7 years.
- No DUI or reckless driving charges in the past 5 years.
