CDL-A Owner Operator — 70% Market-Based Pay

Our company is contracting CDL-A Owner Operators and Lease Purchase drivers for a 70% market-based pay arrangement out of Kingsport, TN. You pick your own freight from a nationwide load board and run your business with support available around the clock.

Pay

• You're paid 70% of the market rate on each load.

• Market rates are set using internal and third-party data and can move up or down with supply, demand, seasonality and other conditions.

• Top 25% of contractors average between $240,000 and $330,000 a year in gross revenue.

• This is 1099 contractor income, not a wage - you cover your own health, dental, vision and other insurance.

How loads work

• Load board access is open 24/7, with hundreds of loads to choose from at any time.

• Each load is posted with its market rate, so you decide whether to take it or pass based on what works best for your business.

• Swift maintains a trailer pool of over 50,000 trailers you can pull from nationwide.

• There are more than 34 shop and terminal locations around the country, and contractors get a discounted shop rate of $80 an hour.

Lease purchase option

• New trucks available from Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo and Peterbilt.

• Options with no down payment and no credit check.

• Estimated weekly payments run $440 to $750.

• Maintenance escrow accounts are available to help cover upkeep costs.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A.

• At least 21 years old.

• At least 9 months of CDL-A driving experience.
