About this job
Run a set overnight linehaul route out of South Windsor, CT and sleep in your own bed every night. This solo CDL-A job pays a flat daily rate instead of mileage pay, with a fixed five-night schedule.
Pay
- $1,500 per week, based on five scheduled workdays
- $300 paid for each scheduled workday
- Flat daily pay rather than cents-per-mile
- $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid out as $500 per month over three months
- Full-time, W-2 employment
Home time
- Home every day after your shift
- Works Sunday through Thursday, off Friday and Saturday
- Shift runs roughly 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Steady overnight schedule week to week
What you'll haul
- Established linehaul routes that start and finish in South Windsor, CT 06074
- Solo runs of 300-400 miles per shift
- Day cab equipment
- Overnight driving, returning to the South Windsor area each morning
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years
- Doubles endorsement, or willingness to get one
- Live within 40-45 miles of South Windsor, CT 06074
- Able to work overnight hours
- Clean driving history
- Must meet DOT and company hiring standards
