About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run overnight, final-mile routes out of Windsor Locks, CT. You'll be home every day with weekends free, driving a company-provided 26' box truck or tractor-trailer.
Pay
- $1,625 per week
- Weekly pay schedule
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Overnight shift, with start times that vary by route
- No weekend work
What you'll haul
- Scheduled local delivery routes averaging 300 miles round trip, about 10 hours per shift
- Loading, unloading and scanning freight, including pallets up to 2,000 lbs
- Use of a manual pallet jack as needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 3 years of current tractor-trailer driving experience
- Valid DOT medical card
- Minimum age 23 (insurance requirement)
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Able to handle heavy freight
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to commute to Windsor Locks, CT
