CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Western Region

Our company Company, a family-owned foodservice distributor based in Salt Lake City, UT, needs an OTR CDL-A driver to haul freight across state lines throughout the western region. You'll handle long-distance runs while keeping deliveries on schedule and cargo secure.

What you'll haul

You'll run long-haul routes across the western region, moving freight between states while meeting delivery windows.

What you'll do

• Plan your routes to hit delivery times

• Load, secure and handle cargo properly for transport

• Run pre-trip, enroute and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keep accurate logs of hours worked and vehicle maintenance

• Stay in contact with dispatch, customers and the rest of the team

• Flag any mechanical problems or incidents right away

• Follow DOT rules and company safety policies

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• OTR experience of 1 year or more is preferred

• Clean MVR

• Comfortable using GPS and electronic logging devices

• Solid time management and organizational skills

• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety practices

• Ready for extended time on the road, away from home, and varying weather

• Able to handle long hours seated and physical tasks like loading and unloading
