About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A OTR driver to run dry van freight on a 1099 basis, with loads averaging 3000+ miles.
Pay
- Mileage pay ranges from $0.70 to $0.85 per mile, with top pay reaching $0.85 CPM
- Paid by direct deposit every Friday
- This is a 1099 contractor position
Home time
- Typical schedule runs 2 weeks out with 2-3 days at home
- Drivers based in the Chicago area can get home weekly
Equipment and support
- Trucks are kept in good, well-maintained condition
- Pets are welcome on the road
- Support is available around the clock, every day of the week
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with at least 12 months behind the wheel
- Driving record with no more than 3 violations over the last 3 years
- No DUI within the last 5 years
- Must be able to speak and understand English
