CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Up to $0.85 CPM, 75% Drop & Hook

Our company is growing its private fleet and looking for OTR CDL-A drivers to haul freight between distribution centers, stores and depots. You'll run a tractor with a 53-foot van trailer, mostly drop and hook, with no touching of freight.

Pay

• $0.75 to $0.85 per mile depending on experience

• Weekly gross pay averages $2,600 or more

• $75 per day while out on the road

• Safety bonus opportunities available

• Sign-on bonus up to $6,000 (temporary offer)

• Referral bonus up to $4,000 for bringing on other employees

Home time and schedule

• Over-the-road runs lasting 4 to 6 weeks at a time

• Work is steady and available year-round

• Typically covers more than 500 miles per day (also listed as per night)

What you'll haul

• 53-foot van trailers loaded with furniture freight

• Routes run across designated regions nationwide

• About 75% of the freight is drop and hook, so you spend less time waiting to load or unload

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience in all weather conditions

• Clean driving history with no major accidents

• No convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Solid communication skills and the ability to follow instructions, spoken and written

• Familiarity with DOT rules

• Responsible for pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, staying current with ELD rules, and following DOT and company safety policies
