CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Up to $0.80/Mile, 3 Weeks Out/3 Days Home

Our company is looking for a solo CDL-A driver for an OTR regional operation out on the road 3 weeks at a time with 3 days home. Freight runs mostly through the Midwest down to Texas and the Florida border, staying away from New York City and the Northeast, as far north as Maryland.

Pay

• Solo drivers earn up to 80 CPM ($0.70-$0.80 per mile), paid on actual door-to-door mileage

• Extra 0.03 per mile bonus on hazmat loads

• Weekly guaranteed pay

• Weekend pay premium

• $100 per day layover pay for any full 24-hour weekday stretch without a load or while in the shop

• Typical weekly gross runs $1,500.00-$3,000.00, based on 2,200-3,500 miles driven per week

Home time

• Schedule is 3 weeks out, 3 days home

• Freight is 99% no-touch

• You'll move finished goods and raw materials

Equipment

• Automatic transmission trucks

• Double bunk sleepers

• Auxiliary power units

Requirements

• At least 23 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• 2 years of verifiable driving experience

• No DOT-recordable or preventable accidents in the last 12 months

• No more than one serious violation in the last 36 months

• No DUI in the last 60 months

• Clean overall driving record

• Felony and misdemeanor history reviewed individually

• No failed drug or alcohol tests, and must pass a DOT physical and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Haul goods and materials by road, planning routes to hit delivery windows

• Check your truck for mechanical or safety problems and handle preventive maintenance

• Keep accurate logs of driving and rest time, miles, and fuel/toll receipts

• Follow DOT and company rules on size, weight, routing, parking and breaks

• Back into and out of loading docks as needed

• Confirm delivery paperwork and report any accidents, violations or equipment defects
