About this job
Our company is looking for CDL-A drivers for over-the-road routes across multiple states. You'd run as an independent contractor (1099) on 3-4 week-long trips, with pay issued weekly.
Pay
- Solo drivers: $0.70-$0.75 per mile, or 30% of gross
- Team drivers: $0.90-$1 per mile, or 35% of gross
- Extra stops, detention time and layovers are all paid
What you'll haul
- Dry van, reefer and flatbed trailers
- Trucks are newer models (2024-2026): Freightliner Cascadia, Volvo, International
- Cabs come with a fridge, microwave, A/C and a mattress
Home time
- Trips run 3-4 weeks before you're back
- Qualified drivers can bring the truck home between runs
