CDL-A OTR Truck Driver Trainee — No Experience Needed, $500 Completion Bonus

Our company is looking for new CDL-A holders to join its OTR driver-training program in Raleigh, NC. You'll go through a 180 hour training phase, then move into a solo OTR position hauling freight for long-term customers. A $500 bonus is paid on completion of the program.

Pay

• During training, you earn $115 per day, up to $800 a week

• Once you qualify to drive solo, pay moves to $0.45 per mile

• After your first 60,000 accident-free miles solo, you get a $0.05 per mile raise

• Pay is reviewed again for performance every 60,000 accident-free miles after that

• Monthly bonus opportunities tied to safety, compliance and online training once you're solo

• Weekly wage range runs from $1,125.00 to $1,400.00

• You're paid weekly by direct deposit

• Layover and breakdown pay apply when you meet eligibility rules

Home time

• Two patterns depending on your area: 10 days out with 2 days home, or 14-18 days out with 2-3 days home

What you'll haul

• Freight is 100% no-touch

• Loads come from customers Butler has worked with long-term

Equipment

• Tractors are late-model, 2024-2026 Volvo, Kenworth, International and Freightliner

• Every truck in the fleet has an APU and power inverters

• Trucks run Omnitracs for routing and electronic logs

• Fleet includes PrePass Elite and toll transponders nationwide

• Transflo is used for mobile and truck-stop document scanning

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Completion of a CDL training program approved by Butler

• Valid DOT physical card, 1 or 2 year

• Clean driving record
