CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Texas Route, Home Weekly

A1 Performance is hiring a Class A CDL driver to run a dedicated Texas route, with a return home every week. You'll get steady OTR miles and a predictable schedule while still having regular time off the road.

Pay

• $2,184.84 to $2,872.07 per week, based on experience

Home time

• You run to Texas and back, then head home every week

• Routes and scheduling are set up to be predictable

What you'll haul

• Freight runs on a set Texas route

• You're responsible for getting loads delivered safely and on schedule

• Equipment is kept in good condition

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean, safe driving history

• Tractor-trailer experience is preferred

• You should be dependable, safety-minded and comfortable managing an OTR schedule on your own

• Willing to commit to the Texas route with weekly trips home

What the job involves

• Operating the tractor-trailer safely on your assigned route

• Running pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Properly securing freight

• Keeping electronic logs and delivery paperwork up to date

• Staying compliant with DOT and FMCSA rules

• Staying in touch with dispatch about loads, routes and deliveries

• Keeping your truck clean and safe

• Representing the company professionally at customer and delivery sites
