CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — From $0.72/Mile

Our company in Mc Leansville, NC is looking for a CDL-A OTR driver to run long-haul routes across the country. You'll handle a mix of equipment, including reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers, moving freight safely and on schedule.

Pay

• Starting from $0.72 per mile

What you'll haul

• Freight across nationwide long-haul routes, using reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers

• Some loads may include hazardous materials, handled per hazmat rules

• You'll load and unload cargo by hand or with equipment as needed, taking care to avoid damage

Day-to-day

• Plan your routes with GPS to hit delivery windows on time

• Run pre-trip checks on your tractor and trailer, including trailer hookups and load securement

• Keep accurate logs of your hours, deliveries, and inspections per FMCSA rules

• Stay in touch with dispatch on route changes, delivery updates, or any problems on the road

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record

• OTR trucking experience of 2 years is preferred

• Experience with reefer, flatbed, tanker, or auto-hauling equipment is a plus

• Comfortable with manual freight handling and load securement

• Solid grasp of DOT hours-of-service rules, load securement, and hazmat regulations

• Manual transmission experience is a plus; you should be confident driving both automatic and manual trucks

• Able to navigate confidently with GPS while keeping safety the top priority
