CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — From $0.60/Mile

Our company in Grand Ledge, MI is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver for over-the-road routes. You'll haul a mix of freight types, from refrigerated and flatbed loads to tankers and hazmat shipments, while keeping safety and on-time delivery front and center.

Pay

• Starting at $0.60 per mile

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated goods, flatbed and tanker loads, and hazardous materials

• Mixed OTR routes to multiple delivery points

What the job involves

• Running tractor-trailers on OTR routes in line with FMCSA and DOT rules

• Loading and unloading cargo by hand or with equipment, keeping it secure

• Using GPS tools to plan efficient routes and hit delivery windows

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch maintenance or safety problems early

• Keeping accurate records of hours, deliveries and cargo paperwork

• Staying in touch with dispatch about routing, scheduling or safety issues

Requirements

• Solid commercial driving background with working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules

• Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks and handling freight by hand

• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers and hazmat regulations

• Confident using GPS navigation for trip planning

• Strong defensive driving habits and hazard awareness

• Background in OTR and varied route driving
