CDL-A OTR Truck Driver

Our company needs dependable OTR drivers to haul freight across state lines, including overnight and multi-day runs. You'll handle the full trip, from inspections to delivery, while staying in close contact with dispatch.

What you'll do

• Drive a commercial motor vehicle safely, following DOT rules and company policy

• Run long-distance routes, including overnight and multi-day trips

• Complete pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keep accurate logs (including ELD records) and paperwork

• Keep dispatch updated on load status, delays or problems

• Load, secure and unload freight as needed

• Follow traffic laws and safety procedures at all times

• Keep your assigned truck clean and in basic working order

• Represent the company professionally with customers and the public

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL (required)

• At least 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred

• Clean driving record, with clean PSP and MVR checks

• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen and background check

• Solid understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving habits

• Good time management to hit delivery schedules

• Able to sit for long stretches and handle the physical demands of the job
