CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Cross-Border Runs to Canada

Simplot is hiring an OTR Truck Driver to haul liquid, loose, or packaged agricultural products across long-haul routes, including runs into Canada. You'll be on the road a lot, with travel required up to 75% of the time.

What you'll haul

• Liquid, loose, or packaged products

• Reefer trailer experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• CDL Class A with proper endorsements and a good driving record

• Must be at least 21 years old

• 5 years of verifiable OTR experience

• Must be eligible for entry into Canada

• Valid DOT Medical Certification and must meet DOT qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

What you'll do

• Inspect your truck before and after each trip

• Maintain accurate driver logs per DOT rules

• Get your schedule of load times and destinations and drive accordingly

• Maneuver and back up in tight spaces

• Keep up with routine equipment checks (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water)

• Bring your truck in for scheduled maintenance
