CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Choose Pay & Home Time, $0.55–$0.65 CPM

Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A OTR drivers to run direct customer freight with no broker loads. You pick the pay and home time setup that fits your life, and you'll drive newer equipment with solid support behind you.

Pay

• Annual gross pay ranges from $55,000 to $85,000

• $0.55 CPM with weekends off (48 hours home)

• $0.60 CPM with home time during the week

• $0.65 CPM running 12 days on, then 48 hours off on a weekday

• Per diem pay is included

• Paid vacation time

Home time

Multiple home time plans are available, so you choose between regular weekends off, weekday home time, or a 12-on/48-off rotation depending on how much you want to earn and how often you want to be home.

What you'll haul

• Mostly drop and hook loads

• Freight comes straight from customers, never through brokers

• No freight into NYC

Equipment and orientation

• Fleet of 2023 and newer Peterbilt 579 trucks

• Orientation runs 2.5 days in Roaring Spring, PA and pays $500

• our company covers and arranges your travel and lodging, including a private hotel room

• Meals are covered during orientation

• Experienced Smith drivers teach the orientation classes, and you'll meet your recruiter, driver manager, and company leadership

Terminals

Terminal locations include Roaring Spring, PA; Carlisle, PA; Chester, VA; Eden, NC; Albany, GA; Cartersville, GA; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; and Mount Juliet, TN. Terminals offer secure parking, free laundry, clean showers, break rooms, maintenance, wash bays, and fuel.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 6 months of recent OTR experience in a CDL-A truck

• A safe spot to park your truck and trailer at home, or access to terminal parking

• If you've had a DOT drug or alcohol violation, you must finish the Substance Abuse Professional program before applying
