CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $8,000–$11,000/Month

Our company in Washington State needs a CDL-A driver for regional and over-the-road routes. You'll handle a mix of equipment types and freight, from refrigerated trailers to flatbeds and tankers, while keeping everything compliant and on schedule.

Pay

• $8,000.00 to $11,000.00 per month

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers and dump trucks

• General freight, hazardous materials, specialty loads like roll-off and tanker shipments, and vehicle transport

What the job involves

• Running OTR and regional routes while following DOT and FMCSA rules

• Using GPS tools to plan routes and keep deliveries on time

• Loading and unloading cargo by hand or with equipment like forklifts, including hazmat handled to proper safety standards

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections for safety and mechanical condition

• Logging hours, deliveries and inspections accurately

• Working with dispatch on routing, scheduling and customer needs

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record and solid commercial driving experience

• Comfortable driving manual transmission tractor-trailers and doing hands-on freight handling

• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers or hazmat transport is preferred

• Working knowledge of FMCSA rules, hazard communication standards and dangerous goods procedures

• Able to use GPS navigation for routing and traffic updates

• Familiar with loading and unloading practices, including forklift use when needed

• Solid grasp of DOT safety and driving regulations
