CDL-A OTR Truck Driver

Our company is looking for a CDL-A truck driver for over-the-road routes, hauling a mix of freight types across different equipment. You'll be on the road regularly, moving loads safely and on schedule.

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers

• Freight, hazmat and dangerous goods, and specialty loads such as vehicles or construction equipment

• Occasional use of dump trucks, roll-off trucks or similar heavy-duty equipment

What the job involves

• Running OTR routes and covering at least 3,500 miles per week

• Loading and unloading cargo by hand or with equipment like forklifts, making sure it's secured for the trip

• Planning and adjusting routes with GPS to hit delivery windows

• Following FMCSA, DOT and hazmat rules on every run

• Keeping accurate paperwork: delivery logs, inspection reports, compliance records

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and reporting any mechanical problems right away

Pay

$2,500.00 to $4,000.00 per week.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and solid commercial driving experience

• Familiarity with FMCSA, hazmat and DOT safety rules

• Experience with various heavy-duty vehicles (tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump or roll-off trucks)

• Comfortable using GPS for navigation and route adjustments

• Able to handle cargo loading and unloading safely, including with equipment like forklifts
