CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — 4 Days On/4 Off, Up to $110,000/yr

Run a 4-days-on, 4-days-off rotation out of the Chicago, IL area, covering about 2,000 miles per shift with mostly dedicated, no-touch freight. Average drivers make between $70,000 and $110,000 a year, with earnings up to $110,000.

Schedule

• Work a 4-day rotation, then get 4 days off before your next scheduled round trip; any extra time off counts as PTO

• Chicago-area drivers do not take the truck home

• You'll share your truck with another driver who works the opposite rotation, so leave it clean and ready at handoff

What you'll haul

• Freight is 100% no-touch

• About 80% of lanes and loads are dedicated

Pay

• Average annual pay ranges from $70,000 to $110,000, with top earners reaching $110,000

• $2,000 referral bonus, paid once your referral is hired and finishes their first trip

• $35 for each extra stop

• Detention pay of $25/hr after the first 2 hours, up to $200

• $50 incentive for working holidays

• Per diem pay option available

• Paid orientation runs 2 days at $125 per day

• One week of paid vacation after 90 days on the job

Equipment

• Late-model 2023 trucks from Freightliner, Volvo, Peterbilt and International

• Trucks come with inverters, refrigerators, and APU or bunk heaters

• Equipped with Samsara ELDs, PrePass, and major fuel cards

• Pet and rider policy in place

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience
