CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $29.00/hr, Hazmat Required

Our company is looking for a CDL-A truck driver to run over-the-road routes out of Cleveland, OH. You'll haul a mix of freight types, from refrigerated trailers to flatbeds and tankers, keeping deliveries on schedule and handling cargo safely from pickup to drop-off.

Pay

• $29.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, including refrigerated units, flatbeds and tankers

• Hazardous materials and other dangerous goods

• Vehicles and other specialized loads requiring extra care in securement

What you'll do

• Drive long-distance OTR routes while following FMCSA and DOT rules

• Plan and adjust routes using GPS to hit delivery windows

• Load and unload freight by hand or with equipment, including hazmat

• Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch mechanical problems or loose loads

• Keep accurate logs, delivery paperwork and compliance records

• Stay in contact with dispatch on delivery progress and any delays

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record

• Hazmat endorsement required

• Experience with manual transmission preferred

• Solid background in commercial truck driving and route delivery work

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat safety rules

• Comfortable with manual freight handling and loading tasks

• Experience with GPS-based route planning

• Experience across multiple trailer types (flatbed, tanker, reefer) is a plus
