About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to haul freight over the road across various trailer types. You'll keep loads moving safely and on schedule while staying compliant with federal trucking rules.
Pay
- $26.00 to $35.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- Tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers
- Over-the-road routes
What you'll do
- Run OTR routes using GPS to plan efficient paths and hit delivery windows
- Secure and handle cargo properly for safe transport
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, loads and compliance logs
- Follow DOT and FMCSA rules at all times
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with proven commercial driving experience
- Solid grasp of DOT, FMCSA and hazardous materials rules
- Comfortable with GPS-based route planning
- Clean driving record with a strong safety focus
