Our company in Kansas City, MO is looking for an OTR CDL-A driver to haul dry van freight across the country. You'll be responsible for safe driving, accurate paperwork, and staying in close contact with dispatch.
Pay
- $2,000.00 to $3,500.00 per week
- Full-time position
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight delivered to multiple locations over the road
What the job involves
- Operating a tractor-trailer safely to get freight where it needs to go
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Mapping out efficient routes that save fuel and keep deliveries on time
- Logging your hours and mileage accurately
- Keeping dispatchers updated on any delays or problems on the road
- Following all local, state and federal trucking regulations
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- At least 6 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- No drug or alcohol violations on the Clearinghouse in the last 3 years
