About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run over-the-road lanes out of Oak Hill, OH, pulling a tractor-trailer on long-haul freight. You'll handle your loads safely, keep your paperwork in order, and get deliveries done on time.
Pay
- $1,800.00 - $2,850.00 per week
What you'll do
- Run OTR and other assigned lanes, hitting pickup and delivery windows
- Check your tractor-trailer before and after trips and flag any mechanical or safety issues
- Load, unload and tie down freight the right way
- Track your cargo and delivery paperwork accurately
- Stay within DOT and FMCSA guidelines, including hazmat rules on loads that require them
Requirements
- Class A CDL, valid and current
- Comfortable driving a tractor-trailer, manual transmission included where the truck calls for it
- Some background driving commercial trucks
