About this job
Our company is looking for an OTR CDL-A driver to run dry van freight on a 2-weeks-out schedule. You'll be based out of the Chicago, IL area, with offsite parking available so you can leave the truck near home during your time off.
Pay
- W2 drivers: average $1,575-$1,625 weekly, paid at $0.63-$0.65 per mile
- 1099 drivers: average $1,675-$1,725 weekly, paid at $0.67-$0.69 per mile
- Expect 2,500-2,700 miles per week
- Overall mileage pay ranges from $0.63 to $0.72 per mile
- Eligible for a raise after your first year
- Safety bonus after 30 days on the job
- Extra pay for detention, extra stops, and layovers
- Paid orientation and weekly direct deposit
Home time
You'll run 2 weeks out, then get 2 full days home.
What you'll haul
All freight is dry van and 100% no-touch.
Equipment
You'll drive late-model automatic Freightliners.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with at least 12 full months of experience
- SAP drivers will not be considered
