CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $1,400–$1,600/wk, Home Every Other Weekend

Run OTR no-touch dry van freight out of Chicago, IL with steady miles and predictable home time. You'll be out 12 days at a time, then get a full 48-hour reset at home every other weekend.

Pay

• $1,400 to $1,600 per week

• Weekly pay by direct deposit

• Extra pay available for detention, layover, and breakdowns

• Orientation pay of $100 per day for the 3-day process, with travel, hotel, and meals covered

Home time

• 12 days out, then home every other weekend for a 48-hour reset

What you'll haul

• 100% no-touch dry van freight

• Mix of about 50-60% drop and hook and 40-50% live unload

• Runs across all 48 states; no forced dispatch into NYC or its 5 boroughs

• Average 2,500 miles per week, with more available if you want them

Equipment

• 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth trucks

• Equipped with a refrigerator, APU, inverter, and mounts for a TV and microwave

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• At least 3 months of driving experience within the last 36 months
