About this job
Our company is looking for over-the-road Class A drivers to run long-haul routes out of Hopkinsville, KY. New CDL graduates are welcome, with paid training alongside a driver mentor and paid orientation.
Pay
- Weekly earnings range from $1,300 to $1,500
- Average weekly mileage runs between 2,500 and 3,200 miles
Home time
- Expect 2 weeks on the road followed by 2 days at home
What you'll do
- Run long-haul routes in a Class A tractor trailer
- Handle pre- and post-trip inspections
- Get freight delivered safely and on time
- Keep logs and trip paperwork accurate and up to date
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and your driver manager
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and at least 21 years old
- CDL school certificate showing a minimum of 120 training hours
- Clean driving record and background check
- Able to pass a DOT drug screening
- Drivers with 6+ months of OTR or regional experience qualify as experienced drivers
