CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $0.80 Solo / $0.90 Team per Mile

Our company is looking for full-time W-2 solo and team OTR drivers to run dry van freight with frequent drop and hook loads. You'll drive well-maintained Volvo and Freightliner automatics and have access to support around the clock.

Pay

• Teams can earn up to $0.90 per mile: $0.80 per mile base, plus a $0.05 per mile safety bonus and a $0.05 per mile productivity bonus.

• Solo drivers can earn up to $0.80 per mile: $0.70 per mile base for qualifying drivers, plus the same $0.05 per mile safety and $0.05 per mile productivity bonuses.

• You're paid for both loaded and empty miles.

• Safety and productivity bonuses are calculated on all miles run in the qualifying month and paid out the following month. To qualify, you'll need a clean record with no violations, no equipment damage and no excessive idling.

• Annual pay is estimated between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00.

Extra earning opportunities

• Clean inspection bonuses up to $1,000.

• $1,000 for referring another driver.

• Pay for detention, layovers and extra stops.

Holidays and time off

Six holidays are recognized: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

• Take the holiday off and still get $200 in holiday pay.

• Work the holiday and get your normal pay plus an extra $200.

• Paid time off is also included.

What you'll haul

You'll run dry van trailers with frequent drop and hook freight, cutting down on wait times at docks.

Equipment and support

• Automatic Volvo and Freightliner trucks, each fitted with an APU, inverter and microwave.

• Pets are allowed to ride along with you.

• If there's no company yard close by, you can take the truck home.

• Help is available 24 hours a day.

What the job involves

• Haul freight safely and handle your pickups and deliveries.

• Check your truck before and after trips and flag any maintenance issues.

• Keep your electronic logs and delivery documents accurate and current.

• Stay in touch with dispatch on load status and any delays.

• Treat company equipment with care and represent the company well.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience driving with a CDL Class A.

• No more than 2 moving violations over the past 3 years.

• No DUI within the last 5 years.

• Able to work with e-logs and a smartphone.

• Meet DOT and company safety standards.

• Willing and able to run over-the-road routes.
