CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $0.70–$0.80/mile

Our company needs a CDL-A driver for OTR and regional freight across the lower 48. The freight varies by load, so you'll get experience across several trailer types, and some runs may involve hazmat.

Pay

What you'll haul

• Reefer trailers

• Flatbed equipment

• Tankers

• Vehicles being transported

• Some loads involve hazardous materials

What you'll do

• Run a mix of local and over-the-road routes, planning your trips with GPS

• Check your rig over before and after every run

• Load, secure, and unload cargo according to the rules for that freight type

• Stay on top of shipment status and flag any hold-ups, damage, or mechanical trouble

• Stick to DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hazmat protocols where they apply

• Log your trips, deliveries, and vehicle condition accurately

Requirements

• Class A CDL and a clean driving history

• Comfortable driving manual transmission

• Minimum 2 years behind the wheel with a CDL-A

• A background in reefer, auto-haul, flatbed, or tanker work is a bonus

• Hazmat endorsement preferred
