About this job
Our company needs a second shift OTR Transport Driver in Winston-Salem, NC to move product between its plants and warehouses. You'll run an 80,000 lb tractor-trailer and handle dock work at both ends of the trip.
What you'll do
- Haul loads to the locations you're assigned on your route
- Check your rig before and after each trip
- Spot trailers at the dock for loading and unloading
- Fill out your driver's log every day
Schedule
This is a second shift role, and some shifts will run longer than 8 hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Class A CDL, or you can get one within 15 business days for a permit and 45 business days for the full license after you're hired
- 2 years behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer
- Background spotting trailers at loading docks
- Pass PBV's road skills evaluation and a DOT physical
