CDL-A OTR Trainee Driver — No Experience Needed, $900/wk Avg in Training

Swift Transportation is looking for new CDL-A holders for a paid OTR trainee position out of Detroit, MI. You'll run with an experienced mentor to build real road skills before moving into a solo driving role.

Pay

• Average $900 per week in Detroit, MI while training

• Paid OTR training riding with a mentor driver

• Once you go solo, eligible OTR company drivers are guaranteed at least $1,000 per week for their first 90 days (terms apply, ask a recruiter for details)

• After training, pay shifts to the applicable trip, hourly or daily pay structure

Home time

• Home once a month

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, must be 21 or older

• No driving experience required to start

• No DUI in the past 10 years for CDL-A holders (5 years for non-CDL-A holders)

• No more than 1 on-road or DOT-preventable loss in the last 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in that span, and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, with no drug-related conviction in the last 5 years and no illegal drug use or failed/refused tests in the past 10 years as a CDL-A or CLP holder

• Strong backing skills, and willingness to work holidays and weekends
