CDL-A OTR Tanker Driver — Avg $2,500–$3,800/wk + $3,000 Sign-On

Our company, a major bulk liquid chemical carrier, needs OTR tanker drivers for runs across all 48 states. You'll be out 3 to 4 weeks at a stretch hauling under hazmat and tanker endorsements.

Pay

• Gross average of $2,500.00 to $3,800.00 per week

• Mileage rate of $0.68 to $0.73 per mile

• Time and a half once you pass 2,200 miles in a work week

• $3,000.00 sign-on bonus

• Unlimited referral bonuses

Run details

• Over-the-road, gone 3 to 4 weeks at a time

• Freight moves throughout all 48 states

Equipment and safety

• Trucks equipped with road-facing event recorders and collision avoidance systems

• Governed at 68 mph both on the pedal and on cruise control

• Hazmat safety training provided, drawing on the company's long track record in the field

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements

• TWIC card required, or willingness to get one within 60 days of hire

• At least 1 year of experience driving a Class A tractor trailer

• At least one year of articulated-vehicle experience with a DOT-certified carrier in the past three years (six months if with the same carrier), or one year of tanker experience with articulated vehicles in the past ten years (six months with the same carrier)

• Tanker experience is a plus

• No more than 7 jobs held in the last 3 years

• No more than 3 combined moving violations and/or preventable accidents in a commercial vehicle over the last 3 years

• No speeding citations in any vehicle at 80 mph or above, or 15 mph over the limit, within the past 12 months

• Orientation is paid, and training happens on the job
