CDL-A OTR Refrigerated Driver — Home Monthly, Up to $0.58/Mile

Swift Transportation's West Valley City, UT terminal is looking for reefer OTR drivers based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. You'll run coast-to-coast with a mix of load types and strong earning potential.

Pay

• Trip pay is calculated on dispatched miles, ranging from $.43 to $.58 cpm depending on your route and experience level.

• The top 25% of reefer OTR drivers at this terminal bring home an average of $1800 a week.

• Paychecks come weekly.

• Starting July 13, 2026, new OTR company drivers are guaranteed at least $1,000 a week for their first 90 days of solo driving under the Guaranteed Pay Plus+ program. Ask a recruiter for the full terms.

• After your first year, vacation pay starts at $800.

Home time

• You'll be home once a month.

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated freight, coast-to-coast, with a variety of load options.

Requirements

• Minimum age 21 with a valid Class A license.

• No DUI in the past 10 years for CDL-A holders, or past 5 years for non-CDL-A holders.

• No more than one on-road or DOT-preventable loss, and no more than three preventable accidents, in the last 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.

• No serious traffic violations in the last year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen. No drug-related conviction in the past 5 years, and no illegal drug use or positive/refused tests in the past 10 years for CDL-A/CLP holders.

• Strong backing skills expected, and occasional holiday work is possible.
