CDL-A OTR Power Only Driver — $2,700–$3,300+/Week

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver for Power Only OTR work, pulling broker freight on drop and hook loads without owning your own trailer. You'll run dry van and reefer freight year-round across the country, with flexible home time.

Pay

• You're paid 31% of the gross load pay, with pay sent weekly by direct deposit.

• Trucks average $9,000-$11,000 in gross revenue per week.

• Based on that, drivers can expect to earn $2,700-$3,300+ weekly.

What you'll haul

• Power Only freight using drop and hook, so you won't need to own a trailer.

• Both dry van and refrigerated loads are available through a steady network of broker freight.

• Freight runs year-round over the road.

What you'll do

• Drive tractor-trailers on OTR routes while following all federal and state trucking rules.

• Hook and unhook trailers at terminals or customer sites, making sure loads are secured properly.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, checking brakes, tires, lights and how the load is secured.

• Load or unload freight when needed, using equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks safely.

• Plan your driving to hit delivery windows while watching fuel use and staying safe.

• Keep dispatch updated on your route, delivery progress and any problems that come up.

• Log your hours, mileage and cargo info accurately under Hours of Service rules.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license, a clean driving record and at least one year of commercial driving experience.

• A plus if you've hauled reefers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks or roll-off trailers before.

• Solid understanding of how to load, unload and secure freight correctly.

• Comfortable handling basic maintenance checks and minor troubleshooting on your rig.

• Knowledge of safe, efficient route-driving practices and trucking regulations.

Owner operator path

Company drivers who qualify may be able to move into the company's truck ownership program if they're interested in becoming an owner operator down the road.
