CDL-A OTR Lease Purchase Driver — 80% of Gross Pay

Our company LLC, working with MTE-Leasing, is offering a lease-purchase over-the-road position for CDL-A drivers. You run your own truck hauling dry van freight across the lower 48 and choose your loads and your time at home.

Pay

• You are paid 80% of gross, and the company estimates an average weekly gross of $6,500.

• Weekly mileage bonuses apply: 2,100 loaded miles pays $100, 2,300 pays $225, 2,500 pays $275 and 2,800 pays $350.

• You can take advances of up to $200 a week, and pay arrives by direct deposit each week.

• A $500 sign-on bonus is paid once you finish your first 9,000 miles.

Freight and routes

• All dry van, no-touch freight, with driver-assist loads as an option.

• About 70% of loads are drop and hook, and about 70% of the work comes from steady customers with the rest brokered.

• No hazmat, Canada or Mexico runs.

Lease purchase terms

• Trucks: 2023 and newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth T680.

• Weekly lease cost: $750 for a 2023 (3 years), $850 for a 2024 (3 years), $950 for a 2025 (4 years), taken out of your weekly settlement.

• $5,000 down, or a loan payable at $300 a week.

• No credit check and no interest, using a Common Revenue Target, with a $15,000 balloon/residual due at the end.

• Factory warranty balance applies where available, plus a 7-day initial trial.

• At your own cost: plates and registration, fuel card, physical damage insurance, Hwy 2290/IRP and IFTA reporting.

• Fuel discounts vary with volume and franchisee ownership of Love's/TA.

Support and perks

• A support team in Michigan is available 24/7.

• Rider and one-pet (dog) policies are available.

• This is a 1099 role, so no company benefits are provided, though you can buy extra coverage yourself.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of recent, verifiable CDL-A experience pulling 48-53 ft trailers.

• A valid CDL and a DOT medical card.

• You must live in one of the hiring states: AL, AR, CT, DE, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, NE, NH, NJ, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VT, VA, WV or WI.

• SAP applicants are considered once Step 5 of Return-To-Duty is done; a C/TPA can be used for that step.
