CDL-A OTR Hazmat Driver (1099) — $0.75/Mile, $2,250–$3,000+/Week

Our company is looking for 1099 contract CDL-A drivers for nationwide OTR dry van hazmat runs out of Joliet, IL. You will haul hazmat freight long-distance with the option to run extended OTR stretches if you prefer.

Pay

• $0.75 per mile on all miles

• $0.80 per mile on deliveries under 500 miles

• SAP drivers paid $0.68 per mile

• Running 3,000-4,000+ miles weekly puts you at $2,250-$3,000+ per week

• $50 for each additional stop

• $200 bonus for DOT safety

Home time

• 2 weeks on the road earns you 2-3 days home

• 3 weeks on the road earns you 3-4 days home

• 4 weeks on the road earns you 4-5 days home

• You can choose to extend your time out if you'd rather stay on longer runs

What you'll haul

You'll run dry van hazmat loads across the country. Trucks are 2023-2026 Volvo, Freightliner, and International models, governed at 73 MPH, and come equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, power inverter or APU, fuel card, BestPass transponder, and a new mattress.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with at least 2 full years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience - no exceptions

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements are preferred

• Able to commit to OTR runs of 2-3 weeks minimum

• A clean motor vehicle record

• At least 1 year of OTR experience

• SAP program drivers are only considered if their program entry was due to a refusal to test or marijuana-related issue
