About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL A company driver to run over-the-road flatbed freight. You'll haul a mix of cargo and get home on weekends.
Pay
- $1,500 - $2,000 per week
Home time
- Home on weekends, with some flexibility for time off when needed
What you'll haul
- Flatbed loads, refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, tankers, and other specialty cargo
What you'll do
- Drive OTR routes following FMCSA and DOT rules
- Load, secure, and unload freight, including using a forklift when needed
- Plan routes with GPS and keep delivery and compliance paperwork up to date
- Do pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
- Stay in contact with dispatch on schedules and delays
Requirements
- Valid CDL A with a clean driving record; tractor-trailer experience preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and hazardous materials regulations
- Able to drive manual transmission trucks
- Comfortable with GPS navigation
- Forklift experience and certification a plus
Training is provided on trucking regulations and cargo handling.
