About this job
Our company needs an experienced open deck CDL driver for OTR runs hauling oversize and extendable trailer loads, including heavy machinery and equipment. You'll be out 2-3 weeks at a stretch running flatbed, step deck and RGN trailers.
Pay
- $3,500.00 - $5,500.00 per week
- Bonus for safe driving and clean inspections
- Quarterly allowance for work clothes and PPE
- Dedicated driver bonus
What you'll haul
- Oversize and extendable trailer freight, including construction and ag equipment like dozers, excavators and skid steers
- General machinery and other freight on flatbed, step deck and RGN trailers
- You'll load and unload using forklifts, roll-off trucks or ramps, and secure loads with tarps and straps as needed
Schedule
- OTR, with trips lasting at least 3 weeks on the road at a time
Requirements
- Valid CDL with a clean driving history
- Background hauling oversize loads
- Comfortable driving manual transmission (preferred)
- Experience operating different types of machinery
- Familiar with permitted routes, curfews and related regulations
- Know-how in freight handling and safety procedures
- Endorsements matching the trailers you'll run
- Solid safety record and driving skills
